教育与研究经历
1985年由武汉二中考入成都科技大学(现四川大学),并于1989年和1992年先后获得化学工程工学学士和化学工程工学硕士学位,1995年在华南理工大学获得化学工程工学博士学位,同年分配到武汉大学环境科学系,任讲师。1998年5月-2000年6月在美国特拉华大学(University of Delaware)从事访问学者和博士后研究工作。2000年回国并晋升为副教授,2003年破格晋升为教授。2009.5.21-31出访西班牙巴塞罗那大学(University of Barcelona)、桑坦德大学(University of Cantabria)、胡安卡洛斯国王大学(Rey Juan Carlos University)和埃斯特雷马杜拉大学(University of Extremadura),2010年11-12月法国巴黎东马恩拉瓦雷大学(Universite Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée)访问教授(Invited Professor),2011年6-8月法国普瓦提埃大学(Universite de Poitiers)访问学者,2012.9.15-28及2013.7.11-8.7两次出访英国阿伯泰邓迪大学(University of Abertay Dundee),2014年6-7月法国巴黎东马恩拉瓦雷大学(Universite Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée)高级访问学者(Senior Visiting Fellow),2016年6-7月法国巴黎东马恩拉瓦雷大学(Universite Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée)访问教授(Invited Professor)。

高级氧化/还原技术在环境修复与污染控制中的应用基础研究

高级氧化/还原技术 —
零价铁还原技术;
Fenton型高级氧化技术;
臭氧型高级氧化技术;
硫酸根自由基型高级氧化技术。

应用 —
水中传统污染物(染料、酚类污染物等)的降解;
水中新型污染物(抗生素、内分泌干扰物、人工甜味剂等)的降解;
有机硅废水、垃圾渗滤液等实际废水的处理;
污染土壤原位化学氧化修复;
污染土壤淋洗修复及淋洗剂回收。

教学情况
主讲《环境工程原理》(本科生)、《高级环境工程原理》(硕士生)、《高级氧化技术》(硕士生)、《专业英语》(博士生)、《高级氧化技术选论》(博士生)等课程。

2000年以来指导硕士研究生46人,其中33人已获硕士学位(2007级、2008级、2013级、2014级“直博”各1人),目前2015级(科学学位)在读2人、2016级(科学学位)在读4人、2017级(科学学位)在读3人;
2006年以来指导博士研究生17人、其中10人已获博士学位(侯利玮和林恒还分别获得法国Universite de Poitiers和法国Universite Paris-Est博士学位),目前2015和2016级在各读2人,2017级在读1人。
