As the establishment of digital city in China become more and more popular, geography information sharing platform and on-line electronic map had became two completely important applications during the developing of digital city in the whole country. Well, the geographic information science and technology in the School of Resource and Environmental Science did a magnificent progress in both applications and provided a powerful database support for the digital city building in China.
