On January 5 to 7, 2017, the academic conference of Asia GIS was held in Hong Kong with 200s representatives from 11 countries and regions attended. Prof. Batty, fellow of the Royal Society，and prof. Li Delin,academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, did keynote speeches for the conference. Prof. Liu Yaolin and his research group attended the conference as well as gave two reports by prof. Liu and Miss Huang Lina. In addition, next academic conference of Asia GIS will hold in Hokkaido, Japan.
